I first got into fitness at 16 — but not in a healthy way. I was surviving on three tiny meals a day with zero carbs, grinding out 45 minutes on the stairmaster five times a week, and stepping on the scale multiple times a day.
At first, it “worked” — the weight dropped quickly — but as soon as I hit my goal, my motivation faded. I started eating more, going to the gym less, and letting myself enjoy life again.
The weight crept back on… and then some. I was crushed. But instead of changing my approach, I fell into the same exhausting cycle over and over — until I broke my leg.
